WASHINGTON (9/11/2006) – Hyde Park Communications, a strategic public affairs firm, announced today that Andrew Shaw has joined the firm as a senior account executive in the Washington office. Shaw will be providing expertise in the areas of health policy and financial communications.

Prior to joining Hyde Park Communications, Shaw was an analyst at the Congressional Budget Office for three years evaluating energy legislation, conducting budget policy research, and providing briefings to congressional staff on the budgetary effects of legislative proposals.
Shaw earned his Master in Public Policy degree with a concentration in domestic and health care policy from the College of William & Mary and his bachelor degree in economics from the University of Florida, Gainesville.
